This JHSC Certification Part 1 eLearning consists of 9 eLearning modules and 8 Insights videos. This program totals approximately 13 hours (2 days) of online instruction, interactive lessons and knowledge checks with job aids and insightful videos.

Each module in this training program highlights specific references to the JHSC Certification standard as set out by the Ministry of Labour, Training and Skills Development (MLTSD)., and are:

Module 1 – Introduction to JHSC Certification Training
Module 2 – The Importance of Health and Safety
Module 3 - Health, Safety and the Law
Module 4 – Joint Health and Safety Committee
Module 5 – Health and Safety Hazards
Module 6 – Hazard Management
Module 7 – Workplace Inspections
Module 8 – Incident Investigations
Module 9 – JHSC Certification Part 1 Final Test

You must successfully complete all 8 eLearning modules and watch the Insights videos before taking the final evaluation module. After successfully completing JHSC Certification Part 1 eLearning, you will have within 1 year to complete JHSC Certification Part 2 training in order to become certified.
