Description
This eLearning is designed for anyone who works with ladders, at all levels, across all workplace sectors. This program provides a practical introduction to working safely with a variety of ladders used in the workplace and provides a thorough understanding of ladder use and practice. This program addresses, also, specifically: • The basics of ladder safety, with a focus as to rights, roles and responsibilities of workplace parties and regulatory requirements in different sectors • Ladder types and specifications, safety precautions and best practices in use of ladders • Common ladder hazards and controls through a review of hierarchy of controls and use of Personal Protective Equipment • The inspection, storage and maintenance of ladders A certificate is provided upon successful completion of this course. To complete the course, learners must achieve at least 80% on the final quiz. Length: This course will take approximately 45 minutes to complete.
